Details: A $135
million waterfront five-star international hotel comprising 29
storeys and 330 rooms which is designed to achieve a parity with
Waikiki's famous Halekulani Hotel.
The resort complex,
which contains extensive waterway landscaping including unique
filtration system, boardwalks, marina and foreshore design
required various Council and Department of Main Roads approvals.
The structural design resulted in a large span open plan podium
over which is supported a short span accommodation tower. The main
lobby features a curved concrete staircase reinforced using non
tensioned stressing cables laid to suit stair profile.
