• Burchill VDM Pty Limited - Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers, Urban and Regional Planners, was founded in Surfers Paradise - Australia's tourist capital and fastest growing region in 1974. It has since become an outstanding contributor to first class development projects both in Australia and internationally. Burchill VDM Pty Limited also operates a regional civil engineering office at Beenleigh.

• Burchill Japan KK in Tokyo, Japan was incorporated in 1991. Mr Phillip Peatey is the company's Director permanently resident in Tokyo. Mr Peatey has professional engineering qualifications and is a former Australian Trade Consul in Osaka, Japan.

The original Burchill Partners Consulting Group was founded in Surfers Paradise, Australia in 1974. Burchill Partners became a member of the VDM Group which in 2006 listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and Burchill Partners Pty Limited changed its name to Burchill VDM Pty Limited.

The VDM Group is a multi-disciplined civil, structural and environmental engineering, project management and construction group, with over 300 professional staff.
